5月31日，EA公司的极品飞车11 ProStreet官方网站正式上线！其上公布了极品飞车11的正式发售日期：2007年10月31日。相当令人期待！
本作和10代一样，依然由Black Box团队在加拿大温哥华开发，定于今年秋天登录Xbox 360、Xbox、PS2、PC、GC、DS、GBA、PSP和手机等（传说还有Wii）各大平台。

从这段官方消息中不难看出，11代将不会沿用之前几代的“无敌车身”了，并且在将画面上有更好的表现（又是DX10浮云？）“”Autosculpt™” technology”应该是本作的一大卖点，想必ProStreet将该给我们和之前几代完全不同的感受。最后提到的“online mode”的变化对于广大D版中国玩家来说似乎意义并不大…
